In this session, participants will experiment with engaging formative assessment strategies that are inspired by the technology our students already use. These strategies include Twitter, Instagram, and emoji adaptations that can be used with or without devices. Participants will consider how these low-stakes writing opportunities can support more nuanced and complex writing.
