Shawntai Brown is the School Programs Manager with InsideOut Literary Arts, working with more than 30 professional writers to provide literary programming to students across Metro Detroit. She is also a writer and teaching artist with a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing from Western Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Literacy Learning from Marygrove College. You can find her most recent poetry in Kaleidoscope, Cactus Heart, and Synaesthesia Magazine. She is the founder of eLLe Kalamazoo play project series. Additionally, she creates with Extra Mile Playwrights Theater.
